The Animal Relief Club (ARC) is a student-led club that was initiated in 2012. We consist of 37 members who are concerned with the welfare of animals and are committed to taking action.
Our goal is to spread awareness in our school community on the global issues relating to dogs in shelters, as well as engaging the student body with various activities that we organize. We consist of five sub-groups: arts, events, tech/writing, adoption and elementary. Each group is catered to individual passions, and with these sub-groups, we are able to cover a broad range of interests within our club. Our second goal is to make a positive impact on a local shelter of our choosing in both the Yokohama and Tokyo area. Hands-on volunteering is not only beneficial for the shelters, but also beneficial for our understanding and compassion towards animals.
