The goal of the TNR program is to improve the general lifestyle of all the cats near YIS, in addition to controlling the population. Neutering cats reduces hormone levels, which subsequently decreases some of their aggressive instinctive behavior, such as competing for mates. Cats around YIS will be not suffer as many injuries, they will be better fed, and most importantly, happy!
